Snapple Lid

This week I found out that Listerine mouthwash and clear nail polish will relieve your skin of itchiness and puffiness (swelling?) caused by bug bites. Knowing this makes me feel like a Snapple lid - full of mostly useless information that makes people go, "Oh? That's cool." Then it is forgotten.
Bee tee dubs, shots are not as bad as they were when I was a kid, or maybe just how bad I thought they were. Also, it is awesome to feel like an adult and kid at the same time. Fill out paperwork ~adult~ Get a shot and get a sucker ~kid~ Awesome.

I've been trying to figure out which is better: being ignored or being forgotten. I haven't decided yet ... probably never will be able to. Ha.

In more exciting news, I recieved my orientation package from Biola. I can register for classes on August third. I can't wait. I also can't believe this is actually happening, but I will be leaving in 19 days. 19 days, my people!

My gaming addiction has subsided and I have given up on my "dream" to be a DDR master. Which is really for the best. *laughs*

Oh! I must say that I love getting a new cell phone number and having people (like 'Matt from Ohio') ask me what I'm wearing. Now that I think of it, I could have had some fun with that. Darn. Maybe next time. *winks*

So, when I am not working, I am watching movies. *smiles* I am giving Shutter Island, Up in the Air, Juno, and Little Miss Sunshine all thumbs up. Although most people that I talked to didn't like the ending to Shutter Island, I thought it was a nice twist. I like that Up in the Air is closer to reality than most movies. Depressing? Yes. Refreshing? Yes. The first time I watched Juno, I didn't like it. But I felt closer to the characters this time and thought it was much better. Lastly, Little Miss Sunshine was different, but I don't think anyone can dispute that it is one of "my kind" of movies.

This has been adventures of Average Girl.

Yours truly,

Average Girl
